The Challenge of unemployment is now a disturbing factor in
our country Nigeria; lots of graduates do not have jobs to fall back on, while
young entrepreneurs cannot sustain their businesses through the first year.
This has become a huge challenge for everyone.
One of the tools that we have
identified to tackle this problem is the act of Volunteerism.
Laurel Personality Development (LPD) in collaboration with DEAN
initiative Presents the first ever ABUJA
VOLUNTEER’S HANGOUT. This hangout will bring together young people from
different places to deliberate on Volunteerism. The deliberation will address
the following:
- ƒ Importance of Volunteering to
both an individual and an organization
- ƒ Platforms of Volunteering, even
for busy people
- ƒ Policies around Volunteerism.
- Volunteerism: a tool for professional
